I am not fully satisfied with the Kitchenaid Box Grater. This is certainly better than my previous metallic grater but then mediocrity is not something that I expected from reputed brand like KitchenAid. I bake a lot and until I used the KitchenAid Grater, I’d never found a good way to remove the zest from citrus fruit without getting some of the pith, and if I succeeded at that, it was difficult to get the particles small enough for even distribution in my doughs, sauces, or custards. The fine blade zests citrus, grates hard cheeses, nuts, and garlic. Though there are many graters in the market, most of them are not efficient in medium grating.
