Was grace insulting … Was grace insulting the Mayan People?
In the interests of comedy, yes, sort of. But if that is a true insult then all comedy is rude in one form or another.
The comment cannot be taken as a serious insult, of course Grace doesn’t actually think the Mayan’s were lazy. Their calendar had to come to an end, it wasn’t as if they never finished it lol.

This movie had the … This movie had the quality and character development of a zombie movie. There’s no doubt it sucked. But the special effects is a good enough reason to watch it, because they are BREATHTAKING! Shame Emmerich has no talent without explosions. If 2012 was directed in the style of like “Children of Men”, or even “Book of Eli”, it’d be eons better. I mean there’s so much story!
